Christmas Light Switch on
Burton Latimer Town Council are delighted to invite everyone to the Christmas Light Switch on- Friday 24th November between 5pm and 9pm. The lights will be switched on at 8pm- by the two winners of the Christmas Poster competition, carried out at St. Mary and Meadowside Primary School.
Both school choirs, as well as Starlight Dance Academy will be performing during the evening. There will be over 20 market stalls, local businesses will be open. The Heritage Society will be opening for refreshments.
We will be closing the High St between the War Memorial and Duke Street from 4pm on Friday until 10pm. The parking bays outside the shops will also not be in use.
The carpark behind the library will also be closing at 3.45pm, to enable stall holders and staff to park their cars.
In light of the current national threat level, we will be using Security Staff on the night and kindly request that no drone flying occurs.
