Our Wildlife Haven
Burton Latimer Pocket Park is an 11 acre area of meadowland, hedgerows and maturing woodland on the Western fringes of the Town. Nestling alongside the River Ise the Park offers a diverse range of flora and fauna along the river bank and in the grassland and hedgerows. Ever changing throughout the seasons this is a little slice of natural beauty that we encourage the whole family to visit and explore; discover and enjoy: Time and time again.
Leisure Pursuits
Popular with Walkers, Joggers and Cyclists alike our Park is Dog-Friendly and a great place for families and friends to picnic. The River Ise is in good health and good fishing can be had from its banks; Canoeists and even Paddleboarders have been spotted enjoying the water too.
Annual Duck Race
The Park is host to our famous Burton Latimer Duck Race and Fete which will recommence in 2022 following a short break. There are plans in action to increase the activities and events on offer at the Park throughout the year. Check out our events calendar for details and follow us on Facebook.
